Greetings.

Hello, everyone, to the Coding Monks blog!

Just a little background info for you guys wondering why the hell this came up when you were looking up *ahem* pictures of monks. We're one of those thousands of little indie developers out their on the wasteland that is the internet. We've carved a small niche for ourselves in the Great Northern Blogosphere, which we hope to expand soon enough. This blog is really just so people can see how we come up with ideas, how we think etc.

We'll keep you updated with as much information as the internets can hold, pictures, updates, tech demos as well as telling you about other, less lazy developers who've gone out there and actually done something.

So, you're probably wondering who this 'we' is. Well, I'll start with me. My name is David (hurr) and I am the Graphic Designer of this dynamic duo (fancy speak for the person who makes the pretty pictures). My partner in this extraordinary venture is named Jonathan. He codes the games, turning them into moving (:-O) pretty pictures. It's rather simple, really.

Over the next couple of months you'll see us grow as a developer (Easter eggs, you see), and if you're really lucky, we might just kick out a game or two.

We may make a few pennies out of it, or maybe even become the greatest indie developer ever.

Whatever happens, you'll get a kick out of our incompetent bumbling, that's 60% guaranteed, 100% of the time.
